Thought I'd give this post a bump back to the top of the list .... I know of at least one new member with a fat purse (there's a hint) & a shopping list .... I haven't checked the range yet but there may be something of interest here. ;)

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

The only 'trainer plane' listed is a mini cessna - at 540mm (21 inches) span. WWWAAAYYY too small to consider!
Sarah wants something in the region of 60" (5 feet, or 1500mm) span.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Starmax Large Scale Cessna 182 Plane ARF Version
RC Radio Controlled Starmax Cessna 182 Large Scale Plane

Not for you, just yet! Scale means it flies (and breaks) like a full-size aircraft. And £250 - ouch!
You want a simple box with wings held on by elastic bands, while you are getting past the first hurdles of learning. After a couple of months, it will look like a very battered box with wings on, but it will still work. A scale model will probably be scrap the first time you crash it!

not showing under " training planes" on your website - only the cesna is there

Im not sure if any of those are suitable as a 1st model,I was offered a simlar one and it was to responsive, its has to be 60 inch to be stable something like an Easistar thats slow, forgiving, and can take a bit of knocking about.

That £250 model looks nice, and I see it has been updated with lights and flaps since the vid review - BUT - it is NOT a first model, by a long way! A second aileron model, once you have solo'd, yes.
