I have now uploaded two copies of the 'after' picture. The titles of the two attachments were different. Garry, perhaps you can sort this out please if I can get No. 1 picture in. Then I will add the 'story' I have lost the full text three times!

I'm doing the same thing the same way and I keep getting an internal server error 500 message. Giving up for now. Perhaps I could use Photobucket.??

Harry, I find that if you upload and insert too many pictures in one go it struggles a tad - am sure this will all get sorted when Mike has done his new server thingie but in the meantime try uploading and inserting pics one at a time instead per thread. Also I always highlight and copy the text I have written before I press the send button- that way if I get the error code I can just paste it back in the second time. HTH :)

I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum.
Cos how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out your bum?!

Yes it was a large file. Reduced it in Photobucket and trying it that way.

Hmmmm. I've got to go out, get back to it later.

Now reduced the size and cropped it. This seems a roundabout way of doing it. Perhaps it can be tidied up.

The story was that I built a Super 60 from a Flair kit about 12 years ago. It was overpowered with an Irvine 40, had about 50 flights, then I changed that for an excellent Enya 0.41 four stroke that suited it fine, if still a bit too powerful but it was sturdily built with large alloy wheels.. One day I pulled out of a dive too violently which broke the wing, it dropped to the ground from about 40' the whole front was destroyed. I kept the remains for about 3 years, then rebuilt it.
As I still had the plan, I cut two new fuselage sides back to the wing t.e out of sheet balsa, filled in the gaps with new formers, floor etc.and reinforced it. I was going to power it with a brushless motor so made a hatch below the motor for the lipo. Simplified the cabin area, no transparent windows, for strength.
The wing was joined and recovered with Solartex, a simple job. It flew perfectly after that and I really enjoyed its three phases of its life.

Harry

I think Mike is sorting things out for the new site, and this one is very slow. This is maybe the prob you are having.
