finally maidened the Challenger and the under carrage comes assembled Although tight on take off soon one of the pants fell off followed by a wheel.I landed gently in th long stuff but the mount tore out but nothing seems to hold it in .It went to the field wednesday but far to windy.I fitted the wrong engine Its a newish sc 52 2 stroke but cuts out as you power up so may change it

you know when a model has caused you a few problems but you wont give up well on Wednesday I tried again ,Thw wind was down and noone around. so after flying the acrowot and junior 60 which flew until it ran out of fuel and glided around perfectly landing on the strip ,I was ready to challenge the Challenger once more .2 fantastic flights later and I was so pleased.Lands superbly a real treat and tends to take off hard right so still some trimming to do but very happy

Sounds like it's running a tad lean.

Re your engine Check ALL the "O" ringsin the carb and all channels and bores are clear. Occasionally some assembly oils can harden round the rings and in bores and channels. . check everything IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH to upset the transition from idle to full throttle.. Full size carbs use an internal pump to overcome this..Also make sure there are no burrs any where

Anything will fly given enough power
