Hi IB and welcome to the forum. I'm not sure about the model but the engine looks familiar from my teenage years.
Could it be this one, a G-Mark 0.12 opposed twin, or one of the range from the same manufacturer? .... A close up picture would be a great help if you could post one please.
The size of the model might help as well, it would give us an idea as to what CC the engine might be. :)

I've seen that model design somewhere before, in the 90's, perhaps. I have a feeling it is one of Boddo's semi-scale ones.
Looking at the size of the throttle servo plug visible, I'd guess about 48" span.

Hi Phil and thanks for the welcome.
Thats the one as its got that same .12 mark on the exhaust casing. I ebayed it on your id and this came up for sale to pove it so thanks for that.

Eric ,,you were not far off as its about 46 inch span. Is Boddo a Boddington model ?

There weren't many of those things about even when I was a lad, I think that should be quite a collectors item.
Yes, Dave Boddington, a very famous modeller.
Any chance you might do a post in our "Introductions" thread and tell us a little about yourself IB? :)

Well that one sold for 195 pound but it was in its box with instructions.
The plane I bought from Bamfords auctions in Derby.

Love buying these obscure models and seeing if I can get them in the air with some kind of control.lol
I'll do an intro Phil.

I don't think it's a kit but it might be worth Googling for Dave Boddington aircraft designs/plans . Goog hunting. P.S. If you find it let us know I wouldn't mind making one myself. It's reminiscent of a Veron Velox.

G-AEAN is a BAC Drone/Kronfield Drone. You will find it in an old Aeromodeller plans handbook. Also search on RC Groups forum.

From British Civil Aircraft 1919-59 Vol 1.
'In 1936, during which 20 machines were built, the firm was renamed Kronfeld Ltd. and the Sprite -powered model became the Kronfeld Super Drone. Two of these, G-AEAN and G-AEEO, flew over 400 hours,or 20,000 miles, with C.W.A.Scott's Air Display.'

Note correct spelling-Kronfeld not Kronfield.

The unstreamlined pylon model was called the Planette. later the streamlined one with the bigger engine became the model we know now.
