Quorneng wrote: Looks nice but a bit brave with a tapered high aspect ratio wing and no ailerons.
What difference would the ailerons make Q?

Sweep-back or dihedral would give it natural stability for a free-flighter or rudder elevator model, the lack of it AND no ailerons is an incipient spiral dive!
if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

For free flight it might be ok but as soon as you bring in elevator and rudder the chances of a wing drop and subsequent spiral gets rather high.
Now if it had dihedral outer sections like your winning glider it would at least respond promptly with roll to rudder inputs.

I agree with all of that Q, but I asked the question because you implied that a hi-aspect ratio tapered wing would need ailerons, and I can't see the link??
