Building a plane (SR71)

I haven't built anything in a long long time but recently found the urge to build a cool thing and signed up on your blog for the hope that I can get help when I need it and share my project !! Here are some first shots of my plans and me with the aircraft I plan to have

Hey Garry yes I have built before... but I was 14 years old. My father and i built a cool gas Pipper With all the bells and whistles but it's been so long and I am super rusty..

I'll ask as I move along on this project it's going to be awesome

and yes there are discrepancy's on them, I will dig my plans out and try to help you sir
And yes it is a awesome build what are you going to power it with, think mine came out at around 11kg

O and buy a fire extinguisher for it

Hey tony ! Thanks so much I'll attach a photo of the plans but they are b-line from eBay I believe the same you have what do you think ? I see that the ribs and some spars are printed twice I am a little confused but I'll make sense of them.

Just a question but do you have a suitable place to fly such a thing?
It would most definitely not be a park flyer.
Unless you have quite some current experience in flying a large, fast plane you would be well advised to start off building something a bit simpler, lighter and slower.

Well you're Absolutely correct I will not be flying this at a park. I calculate this to be a few years in the making but I am pretty ambitions and willing to wait for the right time to take to the air. I am also buying a practice plane to train in the mean time while I build this one up the right way. Hahahaha it's going to be pretty big and a very expensive opps if I mess up crash and burn... but I think that's where the fun is will I be successful or will I crash and burn hahaha I don't know but I will document what ever happens and post it in all its glory.

Did some one mention a BURNING SR71

As a complete novice builder myself you will find lots of helpful advice here, I wish you good luck with your build, keep posting pics and I for one will be following your build

In one of our Pm's you mentioned about putting two turbines in it, so I will repeat on here what I said to you
Be careful, I would put one turbine in the fuselage, this is what I will do when I build the next one
It is an unknown plan so we don't know weather it will fly or not, and the thought of two turbines being destroyed
