Since the disastrous fire that destroyed my first Sr71 there has always been a itch to finish the job by building another, the the atempt with depron did not work out, so I was going to start cutting the formers while in the uk for something to do, ( to stop me going stir crazy doing nothing ) the plans have been here so I got them out this morning, I was going to enlarge the plan to take two turbines,
the one that burnt was EDF, but I think I can build it to the plan as is using one engine

Having seen the price of scroll saws it will be cheaper to take the wood back to Cyprus
The A 10 nearing completion the F 104 woodwork just about complete, I like to be working with wood

I''l see if I can do the same again as there are a number of sites and districts for these give away sites. You could have a go too if you have access to the net.Just google things like Feely Wheely and Free Cycle for instance. Let's hope eh!

I’ve got so many questions
What scale will it be?
What’s the AUW?
Mine was 16.4kg, how much more will yours be?
Will you have a 1to 1 ratio?
Will you have 2 kero tanks, 1 either side of retracts?
Will you be able to use the same retracts because of the increase in weight?
Etc

First question Tony is how are you. Had the op yet. Second is have you found scroll saw yet? I've had no luck on the free sites. However I hear that some Lidl and Aldi stores have them reduced from 60 quid to in some cases down to twenty quid Lots of these stores on Wirral so worth some phone calls. Uncle Google will find store phone nos. Hope you are better.
