FMS P51 Mustang was created by The Beard
Mine arrived yesterday and incredible value for money from Kings Lynn Models .Ive bought the Siver Red Tail model already has decals and not a lot to do .Instructions as with any chinese model are vague but did come with receiver and controller which I wont use.One question ive never thought about. It has a warning not to use higher than 6 volts to servos etc but recommends 14.8 bvolt battery.I assume the speed controller sorts that out but ive never thought about it before.

That's what the BEC (Battery Elimination Circuit) does, Beardy.
It splits the volts from the lipo, so the speed controller gets the full load, and the receiver gets about 5v which also works the servos. [badass]

after a short time flying I was able to give the P51 some attention.Very thoughtful packaging, example the screws are labelled and the horns ands screws are cellotaped to where the should go be it elevator or rudder.
First job is the propellor .the blades screwing onto the back of the spinner each one held by 2 screws.a big 4 blade prop

I meant controller ,The only problem that's come up is the plug for the Battery as no one seems to have them

I hope to be soldering tonite had to feel around shed in the dark as I cannot find a torch for a ceramis tile to use as it looks a challenge to remove the speed controller and the lead is quite long so should be ok
