Just picked up a part built kit from the ebay for a song.

My problem is that i am in manic mode most of the time and then crash out.
I have to be doing something and building fits the bill.
Yes i drive myself too hard and i pay for it, but its all i have to keep me sane (ish)
If you are happy for only one post a week i will go back to bed then.

I'll attack the work & forget to eat or sleep until nature takes charge..... then things never go right for me & I get to the point where I'm ready to throw something through the window!
This is a great looking model, don't treat it as a job, keep this one as your "escape pod" .... Whenever the rest of your work starts getting on top of you .... dig this one out & treat it as leisure time. .... No rush with it .... we'll be here for many years yet.

Well we now have the top wing mounted. 
wing struts fit and can now be shaped.
next we can sand the nose down to shape and get the top wing and fuselage ready for covering.
if the wind and rain ever goes away i might try flying the kadet again.

Looking really good Tony - I must build another bipe one day soon - Have plans for an Albatross DVa, a Neiuport Type 12 and an Albatross C111 as well as a DH60, a Pitt's special and eeeer - well - a few others. Decisions, decisions. Thankfully my build speed is kept to about 0.05 Tony's because of health and a few other commitments. But I "PLOD" along.

Got the rigging wires (elastic) sorted today.
The plan is to fit the struts to the top wing permanently and just fold them against the wing when not in use. The elastic pulls them tight against the mounts on the bottom wing so nothing moves.
Next we shall build the top nose/engine out of balsa and make it removable to access the battery tray. (yes grumps it is electric)
