Took his stitches out this morning, but im not happy with it, the wound is open on the back of his neck, though Nat says its ok, thinks I know nowt
I had the other dogs out with me this morning as I was clearing the jungle just outside the gate I made
When she came home for lunch her little 25 year old boy ran out to report what I had done, I will hang for that dipshit one of these days
The dogs were locked in the bedroom this afternoon pathetic bar=stewards

You sure have a way with words BB , especially when it comes to the 25 yr old :woohoo: :woohoo:

However, I would also have worries about a wound that has been stitched and was now open. Keep your eye on this one Tony, it could easily get infected, as I am sure you are well aware

Took the boy in this morning the vet said the open wound is ok, it is to let out and liquid that should not be in there
Have to say we have had a lot of stuff come out of it over the weekend
The main problem with him is the damage done to the inside of his back legs and belly, quite a lot of damage done in there
He progresses slowly, like my modelling
Bought a Turnigy charger that dose two lipos but it takes an hour to charge 25c 5000 Zippy lipos that had 43% left in them
Is that about right ? seems a long time to me

Fortunately dogs appear to have a great recovery prog , and seem to recover from most things . He certainly took a hammering Tony.
Re the charger, I have two Turnigy quad chargers as well as two other makes and they all seem to take about an hour to fully charge the lipos. They can get to say 16.80 v quite quickly, but then the charge rate drops while they are "fine tuning" each cell, and this appears to take the time . Hope that helps

Those are quite big batteries, Tony. The time taken to recharge them depends on what rate you have set on the charger, and also the power available TO the charger from whatever power supply you are using.
If the supply is insufficient for the charger to run high currents to the lipo's, it automatically turns itself down to suit the supply.
To give you an indication - just charge ONE part-used big battery, and see how long it takes. If it is significantly less time, you need a bigger power supply (more amps!) to feed the charger with!
I normally recharge all my batteries at 1C, ie an 1800 at 1.8 Amps, and it takes an hour.

Also - don't confuse the maximum DIScharge rate with the maximum charge rate, or you could end up with little foil balloons or a bonfire! (Although it is unlikely that your charger will put out that much current anyway!)
if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Every day I spend 4 / 5 hours clearing the jungle, but slowly getting there when you compare it with post 13 taken from the same spot

And a ways to go yet

The weather here is starting to warm up nicely, in the 30s most days and im pleased to say the hanger is keeping nice and cool, very comfortable to work in there, so the 50mm polystyrene ceiling is doing its job :) :)
