Decided to work on the cockpit area today.
rudder and elevator servos are under the floor and working.
now working on the padding round the opening.

I am using 3mm Depron as it curves well, i will be sanding it to shape once it has stuck.

got to work out the twin control sticks next and the seat backs.

well as it was persisting it down i started making up some rigging wires.
60lb fishing trace and crimps, heat shrink and lots of swearing.

these went fairly well, so i did some more.

had the rest of the day on a taxi run.
so i will make the last 3 tomorrow after i have been flying.

they are just metal clevises and cable adjusters for pull pull control wires.
any model shop will have them.

Genuine brass turnbuckles can be found on model yachting pages.
if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!
