Basingstoke is a bit far away for me! (Anyway, my nearly new Berlingo only has 2004 miles on it!)

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Some of you may have noticed that our Mikey Admin is experimenting with advertisement links on our home page.
We've actually made a couple of quid off these adverts even though we have no contact with any suppliers ... the ad's are all computer generated via google & will be different for each viewer.

I only have a very limited understanding of how it works but apparently your computer stores things called [strike]biscuits[/strike] cookies & they record information about what you like to look at.
I'll probably get loads of advert links to "Bargain Booze" but Garry may see links to a "Learn to fly Models" club. .... We discourage links to Sex Aid shops.

None of us want flashing advert's on the actual forum but I don't see any reason why we can't have a few adverts on the home page ... nobody sits there watching it all day.

I'm curious as to , ... can Mike do the same thing on a larger scale in this category?
Could we each log into here and check this thread when we fancy a bit of "Home Shopping"?
Would we all still see different adverts?

How about it Mike.... What are the options?

Do you want me to start a new thread in this category just for you Tj ? ... or you could do it yourself.
It could be used for any potential customers to ask questions or for you to promote any special offers. ;)
