Just found this on youtube.
I think it is "just about" managing to fly I think you can see it struggling every so often and he is using the stands as a slope for some uplift.

I think that's brilliant Mike. :silly: ..... There have been many attempts at similar models but I've never seen a successful one.
That was a real bird taking interest wasn't it?

For those that may not have seen it my Bachem Ba349 Natter. Very light, virtually all Depron, just under 13oz but with such a small wing area it is not the easiest thing to fly. Having nearly crashed it the first 30 seconds I was rather cautious but got bolder towards the end.

To ensure adequate roll control from the tiny elevons it has 'rudderons' as well.

S ome good videos I must make an effort to put some on next year.I have a club mate thats brilliant at videos and putting music an titles on to them but havent seen him lately.Ill E mail him and try to get him to join

Personally I would skip the music on these videos. I much prefer to hear what the plane is doing, just like at the field and always include the landing.
You can tell a lot about a plane (and the pilot!) from the approach and landing.
