I may have already started a thread about this model many moons ago but I've dug it out of storage and decided to finish it off.
It's too late to do a kit review I think, it didn't need building so much as assembling, but you may like to see it before I crash it and I'll at least have some pictures of it.
I got this from HobbyKing but I've forgotten what it cost, in fact I'm trying to get my mojo back so a lot of models will be coming out of storage and getting finished off. I've even bought a Max Thrust Ruckus yesterday from Steve Webb Models for £150 and that will be getting a Kit Review I think.
I've also just bought a Quadcopter, a pair of Fatshark FPV goggles and all the camera and radio gear,.... they might get a review.
I was thinking of starting a thread called Poly's Projects and lumping all the models I'm hoping to finish in one place.
Anyway, back to this model. It's about a 100 inch span so it's no Park Flyer, and it's got a half decent motor designed for a 3S 2200mAh lipo.
It's generally a decent kit, but I have made a few changes which I'll show later.

It doesn't look as bad close up as in the picture, but this is not the prop that came with the kit. One of the things I was going to say about the kit later is that the prop hub broke as soon as I tightened it onto the motor. I couldn't get the original spinner to fit with this folding prop that I happened to have in stock...... This is going to bug me now so I'll have to find a replacement. I tried to buy some spare blades when I was in Webbies yesterday but they only had a whole prop, hub & spinner for £15 but even that spinner was smaller.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

The total model weight is not that important (although lighter is better!) - it's the wing AREA - therefore loading - that matters.
You can get too light - try flying an indoor foamy 'plank' silhouette model, outdoors on a breezy day! (Put your running shoes on first!)
