It works the doors open and close ok But im not to happy with it
A. the linkage is at the front end, be better in the middle
B. the arms on the servo are a bit weak, i could make new ones from carbon or F/G but i think the small servo needs the little bit of flex so as not to burn out
C,. wish i had never started the doors in the first place
And nearly forgot, The other reason im so peed off with it i have a orange 8ch receiver and my Futaba 14SG tx so with using the doors i will need all 8 ch so i plugged them into ch8 the receiver and set up the tx but could i hell as get it to work plugged the servo into different ch it works ok, checked the tx it was showing the chosen ch working on the screen
Spent hours with it trying to sort but everything i tried did not work by this time i was ready to explode and throw the thing out the window so went and had my tea
Sat there eating and suddenly it hit me orange receivers on faast have 8 ch the Futaba 14SG on faast ONLY HAS 7ch
So now i have to buy a very expensive Futaba receiver to fly the lanc
Or scrap the doors

can you not fit operating arms on the u/c legs and a return spring so the doors close as the leg retracts

I'd go with Tony Bloop's suggestion, and use the legs to open and close the doors.
