Decided to put together a plane i bought last September





They gave me two spare fans to go with it as the fans in this expencive aircraft are suspect



I had to cut the thing apart to fit them they are contra rotating and they gave me two the same


the red one is the contra one




After fitting one and assembling the model i thought i would test it to see if everything worked
and this happened

Sorry to poke at a sore, but that close-up shows a big crack in the cone!
I do hope you are not being too enthusiastic with the spanners, etc, and tightening things up - right to the point where they scream with agony! (A pal of mine did that with his 1200 kwak. thought the head bolts were a bit slack, so he put an erfing great torque wrench on them, and wound them down till they sheared off! He wasn't happy when the 'shop' said it wasn't a manufacturing fault, and wasn't covered by the guarantee!)

You can say that again. I always have had problem of one sort or another with stock electrics, so always use my own electrics set up.

I got up this morning thinking about my bad luck and i thought its only material things, i still have good health apart form old Arther ritus i live in a lovely place, with a wonderful lady and i have a little money to spend on my hobby ( well maybe a lot spent and a little left ).
Then i thought of my wife and all of my friends that are dead, they are the unlucky ones so i need to smile and enjoy my life.
I then went down to my car to go to the post office to post the Lander fans back to China and found i had TWO FLAT WHEELS i had picked up two nails

And then you die, be positive, it could have been 4!
