It's an odd thing this. back when CB was illegal & I was the rig doctor for the police force, we all had a great laugh.
We used to know all about propagation of radio waves ... the youth of today just don't understand it .... eh by gum! .... try telling the kids of today?

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

Talking about CB radio, I have a SE1300 Discone Scanning Antenna with about 10mtr flex and a Maycom AR-108 Airband radio I have found in the loft. I used to use when we had the Yorkshire air show at Elvington, I may find a use for it, unless some one is interested.

Just checked my Futaba 6EX, the carry handle stops you from pointing the antenna forward! You can only point the antenna sideways or at your face!

Do it now, you may never get another chance
