We're testing a new idea.
I'd like us all to build an entire category of words and meanings..... at our leisure.

Please start a new topic for a new term and make the subject name also the term or abbreviation.

You can see my 1st post on ESC's as an example.
Also feel free to expand on others posts.

I think Mike's hit on a good idea here.
I know other forums may have a "Glossary" of terms used in aeromodelling, I believe www.modelflying.co.uk/ have made one, but I suspect ours may be different.

Instead of us thinking of a modelling term & giving it a short definition, we'll give it a whole topic!

Imagine some beginner going on Google to find out what an ESC is .... On one forum they can find a definition ... on ours they can find a discussion!! :woohoo:
Obviously some terms will only need a "one post" definition.... but what about something like Dihedral Angle? We could give a brief explanation in the first post & then carry on to discuss how it works & the various types, advantages & disadvantages.

Members & newcomers can easily use our search system to "Search within Glossary" for the correct thread, so they won't have to sift through umpteen threads for what they want.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.
