30 years ago in relation to the Silicon revolution, someone said to me, 'you ain't seen nothin yet'. What brought it home was the purchase of a new electric welder, the old one, bought to replace my old Oil bath transformer type was a revelation, suddenly my welding improved (once I got the polarity right!) and it could be carried around! It sadly suddenly decided it was in high temperature mode and once I'd proved that it wasn't the sender that was faulty would have required 'back engineering' to find the circuit board fault.
4 weeks ago I decided, enough was enough, some things can't be Gas welded, I needed a new one. As usual Banggood came to the rescue and the order for a 200amp welder was placed. While in town on Tuesday (visiting the Doctor) I picked up a parcel that I thought was modelling parts.
When I unpacked this is what I found
That's it, with an A4 clipboard for company
And with the old 160amp welder for company!
How things have changed.
