I would say too big Tony, and I would think that it would be too easy to sabotage being in full view

May be way off though

I would not have thought you could be to big with the cable, 6mm twin and earth is not that big, don't think I will be getting any trouble there Garry very rarely see anybody, its lovely
Made the door for Nats shed fitted it and finished the boarding inside and out, got to rig her a light in there
Went to get the roofing materials yesterday afternoon but they are not ready yet, so will work on the hanger tomorrow

Just the way I would do it. 6mm2 is seriously large and therefore expensive. Conduit tends to attract all manner of garden implements that want to do it serious damage, and it tends to collect water in the low points which can give trouble 3 or 3 years down the line. The KISS principle is always best! :)

Do it now, you may never get another chance

I would not have thought 2.5 mm twine and earth was big enough on that length from house to shed
The conduit will be above ground fixed to the fence for the most part

40M isn't that far, the supply to my workshop is over 70M. It drives my big 1.75 compressor quite happily. The lights flick when it comes on. However the compressor won't start if the lathe is running and visa versa. I just have to be aware.
Plus, there is less maximum current limitation in a buried cable than above ground or cable track. You need to talk to a sparky who's got the book of words!

I notice you are using chip-board boarding. I hope you realize that when this stuff gets wet, it swells up, then goes soggy and collapses! I know it doesn't rain much in Cyprus, but - - - !

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

That is not chipboard .It is Sterling or oriented strand board and is far more weather resisitant than chipboard especially when painted or varnished. It is often used a hoarding board around building sites and weathers quite well . I think you have chosen well BB Good luck once more

In U.K. supplying an outside shed has to be in 10 mm If I remember from when we installed fuel economy controls for boilers installed in out buildings or hut/sheds A copy of the relevant regs should be available in the public library Do you get enough wind to make a turbine worth while? .Or can you use "a genny "?
