Contact Ripmax/Futaba, explain what has happened, and they will probably ask that you send it back to them for examination or repair.

yes Eric your right its the only way to go.Ill send it tomorrow. In the meantime as its full anyway Ive gone in a different direction.Couldnt get a FAAST controller anywhere so gone for the latest DX6 as a back up by Spectrum
.I know Garry recommends them and never has problems and there 5 years further on with experience. For £125 with a receiver plus a secon receiver at £25 plus I have a receiver at home that gives me 3 models to fly by Wednesday and panic over

I have a DX8 Spektrum,
It's a brilliant set, never had any problems at all apart from I stood on the tx aerial and snapped it off. A new replacement was only £8. Definitely recommend them. I personally would only use DSMX receivers though. Not DSM2

This should give you the answer Stephen

www.horizonhobby.com/product/helicopters...rt-receiver-spmar635

An excellent rx, much better than the orange stab rx. As it states , its full range and it DOES work. I had one myself, but regretfully let it go with a model I sold a few months ago

Never used anything but DSM 2, and my flying record speaks for itself .

However , we have had the war Futaba V Spektrum a long time ago

Garry

thanks Garry I remember but im always open minded and as I couldnt find what I wanted without spending £800 on Futaba £125 was enough to persuade me to buy another FMS with the change
