Not very significant but the Recent Topics category defaults to 'latest page' (page 2 in this case) but Recent Topics is kept in reverse order so page one has the latest entry.

Put a new post into Cafe, and it vanished. Re-posted, and it vanished again. Third attempt, and I got -

Something working properly again. For quite a while I could read two Topics then the system went to posts of some time ago forcing me to logout/log in to get to current posts again. PLEASED I AM. I do hope it keeps working like properly.

Yes thank you admin.
I tried to post that the mobile phone system had woken up here about half an hour ok, and just about to post the post and yes, it disappeared again.
I should have kept my gob shut !

Anyways it's back now and thanks again admin, I can see the whole log in box now

The forum is running very slowly again.
If I start a new topic, type it, then click on the 'submit' button, nothing happens for ages, then eventually it appears under the appropriate heading.
I found by accident that if I wait, after nothing happens - I click the cancel button - SOMETIMES the post is deleted, and other times it gives the 'system' a kick, and the message appears.
If I then 'edit' the submitted post, it updates immediately!

Must be my miserable nearly high-speed Virgin broadband that can't cope with my Son's 'working from home' demands, as well as my own, then. (He does have three pc's on the go!)

It's interesting (embarrassing?) to note that he gets more pay for sitting on his bum staring at a computer (or three) than I ever did when I was breaking my back!
