Must admit it is slow today BB, but I have been on other sites today which are also slow. Could it be that the whole internet is very busy ???

Slightly OT, but responding to Garry, considering that a large proportion of the US is under 3 feet of snow, and everyone has been told to stay at home unless it is an emergency, there will be a lot of peeps playing n computers! Also, there have been a lot of power cuts, and it is likely that a lot of major servers and routers are non-functional.

think the whole tintynet has slowed down to a crawl Garry.... all the kids are on half term and the rubbish weather has kept them indoors playing online games against their friends.

Keep getting "Internal servo error" either when posting or moving between pages. It does move on after a few tries but it is rather slow.

Half-term is next week, up here!

It is down here too Eric, but it started 3.00pm yesterday.

Don't know if it's because I'm way down here in the colonies butthe forum is bog slow tonight - takes forever to load. Other sites load OK - just the forum

I am working on it.....
my only concern is to not implement the new version too soon just because we're having a little trouble here now.

I am having growing concern over how the speed is affecting your enjoyment on the site at the moment...... which is making me itchy to make the switch but i am afraid im going to have to fight that feeling as premature change over could have an even worse effect.

I think I speak for the rest of the membership, that we would rather you take your time, and get it right.

Sometimes we are struggling a bit, but we know its not perminant , so please dont worry.

Mike - Rome wasn't built in a day. I've been around for a while and at one stage i got my knickers in a knot and took my ball and went home - but i came back - why? Because this is still the best damn model forum on the internet - So it's a bit slow at present and some of us old farts get impatient with it from time to time - we'll get over it. You do this for nothing more than a bit of personal satisfaction and other than that you get bugger all out of it. Don't stress mate - we'll still be here - and I might remind the other old farts - and even the ancient ones - who mentioned the Gasser?? If you think this is slow just remember how long it takes you to get out of bed in the morning!!! [badass]

One more thing - I've been using this forum for a while now - and it costs me bugger all - I for one would be willing to pay a fee for use if that would help.
