BMFA new classified site

I used to,in the past,use this site quite regularly with a fair amount of success , however, since the hacking of the site, and its reintroduction even though messages have been sent by me to members, I havent had one reply. I queried this with the webmaster of the site who informs me that they are having problems with some servers not accepting the replies. He even went to the trouble of forwarding me a reply that had been sent to me, but had certainly never been received by me . I am putting this post on just in case anyone else is having the same problem as I am experiencing

The above post is somewhat innacurate.

The classifieds has it's own messaging system which is working perfectly well. Gary's messages were sent and received as were any replies.

Where there is a slight issue for a small number of users is with the automatic email notification that goes along with those messages, they are being generated and sent but for a small number of people they are not being received. The issue is being worked on.

It was slightly inaccurate because despite and awful lot of emails to and from the BMFA webmaster telling me that I was getting replies, he omitted to inform me that the system for recovering the replies had changed. It actually was down to one member who had left a phone number to direct me to the new way to access them. To the webmaster it was poss so easy that he never thought someone else could miss it. I did, along with many many more peeps . However to state that it is a small number of peeps who are not getting email notifications is certainly not accurate, as up to now, I have not found anyone who is receiving them , and even the webmaster says that he cant be sure of the numbers . But the main thing is that they ARE working on it
