New shop on the block was created by Hoverer
Hi everyone.

Just to let you all know there is a new spares shop (open one week) on the internet.

Based in the Uk the aim is to sell electric flight and glider accessory requirements at the right price. Also there is to be a building service which is still being finalised (from basic assembly to almost ready to fly.
Products will be added as demand dictates.

The site is www.fatflyer.co.uk

Regards

Welcome to modelchat Hoverer.

A few details on the "Introduce yourself " thread would not go amiss I feel. Only a sketchy one, not too detailed.

Thanks for the link.

Hope you enjoy your time on here, we are not huge, but very active.

Have fun, we do

Garry

Hi

Thank you for your welcomes.

I am 62 years young and have been flying since I was 14. I only fly electric now and anything from fast wings to a couple of scale planes.

Get to fly gliders on holiday in Yorkshire once a year and keep having a go at helicopters, strange things those!

The latest venture is FPV as will never be able to afford a real plane and finding this really good.

The shop is a new venture and I have learnt an awful lot setting it up.

regards to you all

John

Hi

I am based in Bucks the full address is on the web site.

With regard to the batteries I did do some tests before committing to a brand and they tested very well. (This was by actually using them in a plane) I looked at both ends the smaller ones for indoor up to the large ones on the site. If I had to compare I would say as good as Gens Ace. All my batteries are checked before dispatch to make sure each cell is ok. Batteries are always difficult because you never know what sort of equipment the customer is using to charge or balance them!

Best regards

John

Hi

Thanks for looking back at the thread.

It is a slow climb up a very steep hill but things are heading in the right direction (current weather situation not helping).

I have now added the service of kit building to the shop, seems to be attracting interest.

Safe Flying

John
