Not quite what I had in mind Mike..... I'd like to know if Tj wants to advertise his products but can we also give him something visual?

Jump in here with ideas Tj
The general feeling in "Live Chat" tonight was that we'd love to have a supplier that kept in touch with their customers ..... damn good selling point.

Let us know how you'd like to work this please ..... Mike can do all sorts of visual ad's if you want them.

Pol.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

Hi,

sorry, been fairly busy (also trying to multi-task)
Household had a sickness bug last week, then the following to do.
Orders to be packed and posted,
Parcels to collect,
Xmas prezzies to still get,
My edge 540 to finish, its been hectic.

(Not necessarily in that order lol)

But the good news is, I've finally got the engine on my Edge.
So after 6 months it's starting to look as it should :woohoo:

Back to normal soon
Regards
tj

Don't know if you'll want to jump on this bandwagon TJ ... but the offer is open.

Garry has been placed in charge of offering advertising banner space on this forum.
The strange thing about this place is that we don't have a vast amount of members like some forums.... but we are hitting over 30,000 page views per month.

We also look at statistics like "Bounce rate"

Some peeps land on a forum & "Bounce off" ... without looking the place over.
With this place, they stick around longer.

We're not in this for the money but if a supplier wants to donate a model for review then they'll get an entire thread & probably two weeks of advertising banner over every thread.... Mikey Admin will do all the professional artwork. & animation.

What we get out of it is the kit or product reviews.

We don't know how this is going to work out but the offer is going out soon to suppliers.

If you're interested, please get in touch with Garry.

We'll see how it maps out Steve, we're all fairly new to this so we don't honestly know just how much profit an advert will make for a supplier.
What we do know is that if a shop is selling you something for £100 then it's only cost them about £50 .... For some shops that wouldn't pay for a days jet fuel at a display.

With us they'll get the whole month of advertising space above every thread.

Mike has started an advert now for Eric's Rivington Hawk ... we wanted to see what it looked like & I personally think it brightens the place up ... we just don't want to get to point of having the adverts flashing.
We think a slow fading change from one product to the next may be a good start ... but Garry has been left in charge of this one, so the decision is his. :)
