Split flaps

On my TN B-17 I want to fit split flaps, I have bought the cnc pack so have all the ribs cut out.

This is a picture of the ribs on the plan, will it be better to cut the ribs for the split flap before I have made a skeleton wing? what is the best approach for this? should I look at photos of B-17s then mark out the flap on the plan?

i would draw the flap on the plans and cut the ribs before building the wing.

or is it just the plan bent up? all mods to any kit of parts should be done before gluing together, you will never do it after,

I will work out what will look right then sketch it onto the plans and see what the opinion is on here!!
I had the plans copied and rolled them up what you can't see in the photo is my trotter holding the plan up making it all look a bit wibbly wobbly.

The picture is a bit confusing Dean ... look at the black line to the right, ... it's supposed to be straight.... you've given us an optical illusion mate .... trust you, send it to Garry & he might get something almost straight for once.
