I read somewhere that someone was using a quite pricey kit for gap filling with Cyano. No need for that . I use BICARBONATE OF SODA. I sense puzzled looks at this point ,but yes soda bic. What the yanks call baking soda ( not our baking powder, ALTHOUGH that might work too ) The Method is to fill the gap up to the level of the surface to be filled. When happy with that carefully drip on your Cyano Doesn't take a lot. It hardens in seconds and is ready for any sanding you may need. Talcum powder would also work but takes just a little longer to set. Try it for yourselves. Suck it and see as they used to say. You can in fact build up with it by making a dam round the area to be built up to the required height. .Put in the powder add the Cyano and there you are instant plastic. If you:vary the proportions you can achieve different densities to suit different purposes. Good luck.
P.S. If any one plays stringed instruments and the Nut at the top of the neck is worn it can be rebuilt using this method.
