small indoor model

I have bought, yes bought a small indoor model kit.
Just out of interest to see what you actually get for your money these days.
It was cheap and on special offer.



you dont get much for your hard earned pennies, but it will give me an idea for future designs.


Depron parts.

there are some screws and thin wire as well.

building will start tomorrow. (won't take long)

Well today was a bust, been doing jobs for other people most of the day.
Late this afternoon i managed to get an hour to spend on the build.

I pressed all the parts out of the 1mm ply and 2mm Depron and started gluing.

all the ply parts were glued to both sides of the Depron fuselage with uhu por.


then the only ply part needed was glued to the wing and the wing creased to for a rough air foil shape.


the under carriage was bent up and pushed home, the the tailplane was glued in place.
control horns were glued to the elevator and ailerons and they were then hinged to their respective wings with blenderm tape.

thats it. ready to be fitted out.


so tomorrow i will be adding all the rc gear and getting it ready for flight.

Can't find my small rc gear.

so i have started another small indoor model of my own design.

What the hell do you feed yourself on in a morning Tony??? I want some !!!!!!!!

You expend more energy in your modelling in a day, than I can muster in a month. looks very interesting .

Remembered why i dont build small models any more.
I can't see the bloody bits or even pick them up

still i have nearly finished it.
