The main painting is now finished, so it is time to start the fiddly stuff.
markings and windows and there are a lot of windows. eep.



Still i can only work at my usual slow pace, it will be finished one day.

well i am almost done with the painting, it is good enough for a fun model.




cockpit windows still to do and then the ailerons,elevators and battery hatch.

hope to fly it next weekend.

right Saturday i will be building ailerons and elevators and battery hatch.

had a lazy day today, still washed out from yesterday.
so all i have done is give the trident 3 coats of sealer.
be back on her next week as i want to fly her next weekend.

so a vc10 at the same scale as the hs trident would have a 70" span.

hmmmmmmm.

that would mean removable wings and retracts and weight and complications.

maybe 35th scale as that would give me a wingspan of 50" only very slightly larger than the trident.

fixed wing,twin pusher props, no retracts, hand launch, lighter and less complicated.

more hmmmmm

well i have made the ailerons today.
tomorrow i hope to make the elevators.
then it is just a case of the battery hatch and final finishing off.

Made the elevators today.
made the battery box.
covered the ailerons
covered the elevators and started the painting.
need to make the battery hatch tomorrow.
waiting for hinges and then i can finish her off.

Control surfaces painted, sealed and fitted.
need to add the pins yet, then i can connect them all up and give the sticks a waggle.

just got the battery hatch and c of g to sort and we can go flying.
