Jet Wing

I've got a number of 3D print builds on the go (just call me grasshopper) but I've never built or flown an EDF plane so I thought I'd document this one.

These are the fuselage parts
 
And this is how it all goes together
There are 2 different fuselage configurations, One with no rudder and one with vectored thrust. This one will be no rudder to keep things simple.
There are also 2 wing spans, 1270mm and 2060mm, this fuselage will have the 2060 wing and will weigh close to 2kgs

Silly light is not an option for me Simon, I've been waiting for weeks now for flyable weather, 41C the last 2 days, up from 38C average. The gusts start as early as 0700! My weather station shows gusts of up to 35kph in the middle of the day as the thermals come through.
The 2M wing has a loading of 28gm/dm as opposed to 48gm/dm (whatever those figures mean) also the 2M wing is a 4 flap wing which will allow things like flaperons and Crow braking. The small wing is going to be a real rocket ship, I'm the same as Simon, eyes and reactions are failing.

I see the FunCub is 30gm/dm, probably more since all the repairs, so, as long as I remember that I've got a throttle the big wing should be flyable with my skill set.

Well I got a bit of a break, (laying a floor in our new bedroom, if you really want to know), it takes longer to fettle the parts than it does to glue the parts together

No credit to me, fine tuning of Cura 5.8 and my Prusa mk4 which really is the bees knees.

Moving on, I've abandoned the fuselage at the moment to concentrate on the wing. I have a number of sections that didn't complete and have found a way to repair them, courtesy of Plane Print.
