Well phil has dropped me off a new project.
a fun fly extra slim twin.

twin boom with center flap and powered by (wait for it grumps)

2x25 to 40 two strokes.

Well i suppose someone has to use the smelly things

It does Tony - and it has real motors too. Is it a kit or a plan? It would be an ideal project for some one who wants time on a multi without risking the you beaut gear. If it's a plan where can I get it please??

the plan that comes with it has no measurements as to balsa sizes.
i could get a copy printed and then you would have to make it up as you went along.

hello boys, the extra slim twin is said to best one of the best trainers for twins as it will even take off on one motor. i just love the sound of two engines on full song. i have a sea plane with two irvine 25s and that fly's like a big trainer. the extra takes 8 servoes so theres a bit of wiring to do and hide:( .. i went up to meet tony yesterday and pinched his hurricane, i have now got the perfect pair hurricane and spitfire in more or less the same scale.
tony tried to tempt me with a lancaster but i had to resist, but my dream would be to have a lancaster and a mossie to complete the set (dribble dribble)
it was nice to meet another forumite and have a good natter regards phil

I* like twins they always have a good sound in IC of course.

I'd start it but i am still waiting for the build book.

You don't need balsa sizes with a thing like that .... it's a couple of planks with a wing stuck on!
1/4 inch sheet will do for the Fuz, & A used bog roll could be adapted to make the wings

Ummm so if I whip a couple of planks off the fence and adapt a bog roll for the wing - bog roll for the wing???? - bloody hell you poms must have big arses if your bog rolls are that size!!!
