Seagull Sea Eagle

quite why the model is called Sea Eagle defeats me as I don't think it suits ,more of a warbird name to me.This was my 2015 Christmas build alongside rebuilding my Acrowot fuselage but Wednesday night my modem packed up and as its solely available from Virgin I'm of course still waiting.For the first time with a seagull model I had problems with mounting the IC engine .the insructions show it straight but the screw holes are angled and the only way it fitted had the silencer straight down the top of the nose.So I had to change the bottom mount holes to get a screw to fit they were way out.the reat of the build has been straight forward and has gone well fiddly bits get fiddlier nowadays and everything I drop disappears into a bottomless pit in the lounge floor somewhere haven't yet found itIm using a Thunder tiger 40 pro as the power plant an engine I bought new and haven't used for ages

A magnet on a stick or a string can be useful looking for lost crews etc/ The floor of the room I work in has a laminate flooring and small stuff bounces about and turns up Where least expected. We call it the magic floor

thanks guys Ive got a magnet one of those telescopic ones but the wrong items appear.cooked dinner for family last night so no work on sea eagle.Hopefully the virgin guy replaced modem 8 am this morning so ill try some photos tonite

at the moment Im missing the u shaped thing that secures the rear wheel to the rudder the spring for the needle valve but shouls have spares lurking somewhere Its a beautiful day here and im working

I wasn't able to fly yesterday so worked on the Sea Eagle it all went very well secured rear wheel with modified u clamp fitted switch and aileron servos and cowl All went well and completed the model took photos but cannot get them to post.Ill look into it when I get home tonite nice looking model

Expensive cameras take high quality and thus create big size files.
The most common pickture file format for posting is "jpg". Some sites will only accept that format.
