Thanks for the advice Ricky, much appreciated. I did find a site called - Everything Airbrush which has a list of uses and comparative models so I'll have a ponder . I was never a fan of dual action ones in the past, particularly when trying to get a uniform coverage.

Some interesting stuff on here. The car touch up kit and the one with two brushes look good.The reviews of these and some others are good too. The Aldi compressor looks excellent and a good price too. I can't get to the shop but would like a good look at one.I have a full size compressor but would like a table top model for indoor use in the winter. I do have a heater(oil filled rad) in the shed/workshop but it's not quite enough when it is really cold.Might be better in the smaller one. Less space to heat. Anyhow seeing as how you will get yours first will you review it for us?

With the fuselage now painted I have covered the centre section with Mylar, the tissue stage will have to wait. It is getting tantelisingly close trying some test glides but other commitments mean I'm still in a race against the mowers of the long grass. It's crept up slightly, to a tad over my target weight so it balances out at my estimated CG but I'm not panicking at this stage, lets see how it glides first




Desperate to get rid of the gloss finish on the fabric part of the fuselage but I only want to apply 1 coat of silk fuel proofer so I need to sort the registration and weight limit decals before I do that. I had a little try out with some white decal paper for the side registration which works well
