Ok NOW I've finished it :)

I've managed to fit a KP adjustable nose bearing into the nose block too which should make life easier . Prop's a bit big and will need some trimming to allow ROG.

Next stop trimming ;)

I had a trimming session with the Super Cruiser today at PMFC event at Bushfields. It was a surprisingly busy event with plenty of flying for the entire event and some nice models to be seen to.

I didn't get a chance to take many videos other than an early trimming flight of the Super Cruiser but it atlas proves it can fly. By the end of the session I had it performing a couple of circuits but it still wasn't climbing much so the next event will see me trying again with a larger motor.

More trimming today in preparation for the Nat's at Bushfields in Peterborough

I managed some decent ROG's with the model , which is a first for me, and by lunchtime I was happy with the trim.

However I tried a quick test flight later in the afternoon and everything had changed so I spent the rest of the afternoon re-finding the trim !! Not sure what happened there as nothing had changed !!! :S

Anyway here's a video of me and others trying to achieve perfection. ;) It's not the best flights , just the ones that where videoed

A very tidy little kite and neat enough to look far bigger.

Looks nice. I entered one in indoor kit scale last year. Been flying really well indoors on 6" prop and 4 strands of 1/16"

Hi DMK.

Been flying really well indoors on 6" prop and 4 strands of 1/16"

I started mine on a cut down 6" prop but it was still too big with a large amount of pitch , so I cut down a 4 3/4" to 4' and it flies nicely now on a loop of 1/8" rubber.
The KK Super Cruiser is quite small at 18" span, I think in retrospect the KK Family Cruiser at 21" would have been a better bet for Kit Scale but I'd already built a larger 130% one for CO2 so I fancied something a little different.

Have you entered Kit Scale this year ?

This might help
hobbyking.com/en_us/9-2-blade-propeller-....html?___store=en_us
other sizes as here and scan down .hobbyking.com/en_us/6-2-blade-propeller-...-power-5pcs-bag.html Very cheap. Price for 5 is as for one in LHS /LMS

Anything will fly given enough power
