No Free Flight posts for months!

I joined this site to read about and share discussions about my favourite aeromodelling passion - Free Flight Aeromodelling!

So for the last few months this site seems to have died in the bum and I don't know why.

Is it some kind of internal politics, a p*ssed-off member leaving or the site re-organisation?

Inquiring minds want to know as I really enjoyed reading about and viewing photo's of all the really great models that were shown here but nowaday's nowt. What happened?

I suspected something like that. Anyhow it's water under the bridge.

I am just using the Christmas break to re-furbish and build some new models so shall get some photo's up soon. I hope that you people like HLG's/CLG's

Here in Oz, CLG = catapult launched gliders, 6" loop of rubber on a handle. Designed to permit older people with worn out shoulders to get a decent launch height.

At our last Nats, one of the competitors did use a discus launched Free Flight glider. I noticed that it was a bit larger than usual.

At the end of the day, it's all about having a consistent model, a reliable D/T and picking the air

Bugger the politics! I just want to chat about Free Flight models - What's so hard about that?

If some people have an issue then take it to PM's or email, let's get this site back to what it was because I was nicely surprised when I discovered this site, learned a bit but then lately it seems to have gone rapidly downhill

I've been missing for a while due to ill health again but I'm saddened to log in and see this post. I'm going to attempt to do a post shortly that will explain a lot of things, but before I do I'd like to know where there are posts about female genitalia that have not been moderated or approved by a moderator?
There is no inner circle on this site, everyone is made welcome from the minute they join, but it doesn't help by throwing out personal insults and calling people a CANCER!!! ?????
Klippy has asked that I leave the post alone, and BB has left a nice sarcastic thank you, so I won't delete it, but I'd love to know what these members have done to offend you?
Also, if a post gets moderated you should get a PM explaining why ..... I've replied to this post publicly in case you aren't reading your PM's.
I'm going to try an extra bottle of painkillers and see if I can spend a bit more time on here, I need to get this place back to being the friendly fun site that it used to be. I'll word a post shortly that will explain what went on to everybody, maybe then it can become history and not some big secret.

Thanks Eric, I'll take a look as soon as I can and try to get back up to date with things. The problem I have is that even sitting upright causes me severe pain most of the time, so it's hard for me to use the comp', even now I'm crouched over with a hot water bottle on my stomach.
I know the forum has had a few problems recently, and yes we lost a few members, but I built this place from scratch and it was loved by the few members we had then, I'll build the place back up again. Oddly enough we do have new members joining every day, they just seem to be reading the threads and not posting much, I'm sure they'll join in eventually.
I'll get working on it.
