Pretty little thing - not really my scene -
But I do have an original, unstarted KK Intruder, soon to go onto the building board! [badass]

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I'm pretty sure it was the Invader that I built when I was a lot younger and still dreaming about being able to afford radio gear.
I loved models with tip dihedral, for some reason I always got them to test glide better than other models.
I never had much luck with tow line launches though. :( I tried various positions for the tow hook but I couldn't get the models to stay in a straight line, they would always try to roll off the hook.
When I look at that picture now I think of what a great thermal R/C model it would make, ....... someone stop me please, I've got enough on my plate.

Pol.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

Hi O.F. to answer your question - yes - sort of! The model has a foam wing, so the only 'plan' is for the fuselage construction - basically where the big pre-cut bits go, which hardly takes a lot of figuring out, if you have built any before! (probably cut from teak planks, if previous KK kits are anything to go by!)
Were you thinking of building one from the plan? I'm not sure if the wing root and tip sections are shown, I'd have to unroll it to see.

Took it out over my local patch this afternoon, had some lovely little flights out of it using my short bungee, it will definitely need a d/t before using anything longer than 5 metres of elastic and 4 metres of line and somewhere with more space!

balsa is best.

As I once said over 20 years ago before the loss of a new model. "Who needs a D/T, it's only a test flight"

I've managed to get a copy of the plan, I don't know when or if I'll get round to building it but who knows. ;) ;)
