Hey guys,
How's it going? I'm fairly new to this forum and just properly getting into model building. I've recently started getting headaches and I think it's from the paint. Has anyone else experienced this? I was looking at respiratory protection like this . Anyone got any recommendations on this? Looking for something that'll work but will be fairly inexpensive.

What type of paint is are you using that you think is causing the headaches?
If the headaches are indeed from the paint then the respirator has to be for vapour filtration rather than the more common particulate.
The normal solution to vapour irritation is lots of ventilation or change to a non irritant (water based?) paint.

Have you also been ujsing cyano/superglue/instant glue?
Headaches and nausea are common side-effects from breathing the fumes.
Ventilation is the key.

If in doubt, use a charcoal filter mask. I doubt if they cost more than ten or twelve quid over there. Get a couple of spare filters while you're at it.
