Mick's Folly - aka Kalt Space Baron was created by Grumpy42
As I might have already mentioned I have this obsession with rescuing old models from hobby Shops, garage sales and the local rubbish tip. MY latest folly is a Kalt Space Baron that I dug out of the local tip shop. Paid AU$30 for it and took it home to see what sort of trouble I'd got myself into. No motor or radio of course but much to my surprise it was mostly all there. Obvious reason for it ending on the tip was a collision with something that bent the tail rotor shaft and broke a couple of small bits (Might be the local trees mentioned elsewhere). The Rotor blades also looked as if they'd had an argument with a shark but other than that - and considering where it came from - not to bad. I've attached a couple of photos and would be greatful for any one who can advise me on sources for parts. The locals seem to not even know what a Kalt is!!

This is specially for all lovers of IC power, vintage models - and helicopters. I now have TWO Kalt space Barons - one brand new - the other one I recovered as reported above - AND a Hirobo Shuttle ZXX.

Both Kalts now have OS 32H engines - the ZXX has an Enya 35H SS. The next photos you might actually see me flying - errr desperately trying to hover the ZXX - with trainer wheels of course.
