Seems every one is getting onto the building kick - and as I've offered to send Dean the plan for this model when I finish I better get off my arse and do it! Only one photo to post so far as although the model is currently about 60% finished it sat in the back of the hangar for a few months and so I transferred all the progress photos to a CD. Now I have to find the bloody CD. :P :P

Anyway as soon as I can dig them up I'll drop them in here - might be a bit of help to Dean when he attempts the model some time in the future.

Had the 8 ft Telemaster over 20 yrs ago, and it is as good now as it was then. Its a model that has never aged.

I was an instructor at the time, and could never fault the model. I donated it to the club I ran, to be used as the club trainer. Wonder what happened to it.

Always said I would have a 12 ft one day. Who knows???

I have a Senior Telemaster kit lurking in my store, I could get the plan out and see if I can get it copied. Not sure how legal that would be, but it's only Stephen that's likely to shop me, and we won't tell him.:)

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Bloody Gremlins and those Imperial Taskmasters the Drunken Parrot and Old Gasser - it's all their fault. Polly Fillup has sneaked into my mates shed - where I was storing the half finished Telemaster - and sabotaged the roof - net result the fuselage has been completely soaked by stale beer and is now useless.

Mean while Old Gasser (he of the *lectric thingos) has been into my CD collection and stolen the photos of the work I had done to date. A word here about the old Gasser - he is of that age that there is no doubt that at one stage before the invasion of that *lectric stuff he was a true modeler - I bet his nightmares are still haunted by fleeting free flight dreams and the smell of Ether and Castor Oil - BUT - he was completely co-erced and committed the terrible treason of defecting to the other side. I think he is to be pitied - SYMPATHY GASSER!!!! - and we can but hope he will recognise the error of his ways and return to the true Hobby before he is to old to beg forgiveness.

I know full well that both the Drunken Parrot and Old Gasser will not accept this explanation so I have spent the night - while they were pursuing their womanising and drunken debauchery - in starting all over again and building a new Senior Telemaster. The building log can be found under Telemaster #2.

Your humour creases me Grumps. For a colonial you have a remarkable command of the mother tongue :) :)

Your one advantage is that it is impossible to insult me as I am too ignorant.

Keep it coming mate, I love it.
