well tony i have nearly finished just got the switch to mount, the engine is a jba 46 servos are ace rc standard size

G'day Sky - I might be able to help you with some extra background on the prototype of the P40 you are building - I have a sh*t load of info on a lot of the aircraft - particularly US and Aussie P40s that flew in the Pacific theatre. If you can let me know if there is anything in particular you want to know I can email it to you if you PM me with an email address - I have to much to clog up this thread on here.

yes it does have 90 deg retracts. a bit more information on the aircraft.Built by Curtiss, constructor number 29677. This aircraft was originally intended for delivery to Chinese Air Force, and had Nationalist Chinese markings applied in the factory. Instead, it was pressed into service with the 5th Air Force.
