Bloody Plans - now it's a Lanzo Bomber!

I thought I posted something about this before but buggered if I can find it. - Oh well - here we go from the start!

This is the classic 70 inch Lanzo Bomber. Ive started off by building 2 sides off the plan. One on top of the other on the plan to make sure they are identical. They are joined together by cross pieces to form a diamond shape (see photo of plan). After I connect all that up the next job is to build the pylon and work out how to fit servos for rudder and elevator as well as a throttle and a fuel tank in the available space. I haven't yet decided whrther to use snakes or pushrods to actuate the control surfaces but pushrods would probably be more in keeping with the vintage theme although, of course, this model is being converted from free flight to R/C assist. The plan is a bit vague on dihedral and if any one has built or flown a Bomber suggestions are most welcome. Note that this is rudder/elevator only control and I have no plans to fit ailerons. The plan shows an Ohlsonn .60 fitted and - eat yer heart out Gasser - I have one! But it's mint in the box so I'm not going to use it. I' m going to try a GMS 47 that I have lying about and see if it has enough grunt to lift the thing. Once it's airborne a .049 would probably do to chug around with!

Oh yeah - and in case the Imperial Task Masters start complaining I have been plodding along with the other builds - the Telemaster wing is almost finished, I've built the centre section of the Lancaster wing, The Phoenix is finished ready to fly, I'm working on the Fournier wings, I've cut out formers for the Aero Commander fuselage, I've almost completed a kit of components for the Mosquito, the Hustler Delta has been started and the Playboy Senior is on the building board - industrious little bugger aren't I????? I'll even update the build threads in the next few days when I work out how to download from the new camera. Of course ALL models are driven by PROPER engines!!!!

I picked up a GWS 47 for a tenner at a bring and buy.Fantastic engine loads of power and had to go bigger on the prop because it revved so much.My only problem was the silencer kept coming loose so I drilled it out to take bigger bolts and think I drilled through the casing to far si it doesnt run now.
