BLOOPERS FUNFLY MKI. was created by Ex-Member
Well i have run out of funds for the viscount.
So i thought i would resurrect my funfly build.

Made a start on the tailplane and elevator today.
All 6mm square, 6mm sheet and 6mmx9mm that i had in stock, based loosely on the kadet tailplane and elevator.

The main wing is 48" wide and again uses stock lengths of 6mm and 9mm square, with 2.4mm ribs and 1.6mm shear webbing.

just using up the balsa i have and what ever i can get from the scrap box.

Hopefully i can find enough wood for a simple box fuselage with a mid wing design to take a 2200mah 3s battery and reasonable sized motor.

Looking good already Tony. I'm watching this one with interest.
Will you be putting the finished model through it's paces like those guys at the NATS?

Rich

I NEVER crash, Sometimes I just land quickly in an unexpected manner

make me an offer. :P

I will be drawing up plans for this one and will make templates so i can cut another kit out as and when i need too.( if i crash while trying fancy stunts)
So i could knock up a kit with all the main bits ready cut, so it would be just a case of sticking most of it together and just having to cut the tail yourself.

Made it up as i went along. :P

The wing slots into the fuselage and is then fixed for ever.
the ailerons will be fitted after the wing is fitted.

It's not hard to build sir, just takes the guts to sit down and start.

An hour a day would see this one built in 2 weeks. ( so miss corrie and eastenders and get the building board out)

Not pushing or anything, need to see if it flies first. :P :P :P :P :P

Drawing up some plans as i type this.
then i have to make templates and buy some more balsa for the kit and then cut out all the parts needed, then make up the kit with the sheet needed to finish it, then bend up u/c, then write up a set of build instructions, then get the plans copied and printed, then get the instructions printed, then find a box, then decide on price, then collapse in a heap hyperventilating. :P :P

So next week ok then. :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P
