spent a couple of hours over the last 2 days and knocked this up.



long way to go yet before i can try it out.
doing little bits while i wait for tsr2 bits to dry.
all good fun. :P

after sticking the motor and battery in the nose, i have decided that the servo's need to go in the tail to help balance it better.
so i have to take out all the snakes later today.

servos are in the tail.
canopy/ battery hatch made.
started constructing the cowl.

decided i best do some to this.
gluing the wing tubes into the wing cores, yes i have to cut the middle bit of tube out yet. :P

wing tubes fitted and the wings actually fit for a change. :)



can start cutting and gluing the ribs on tomorrow and maybe get them sheeted, we shall have to see.

wings getting sorted.
keeping it simple this time.
root rib, main spar, balsa trailing edge.


the a single sheet of 3mm over the top and sorted.



got to sort the servo positions tomorrow and then i can do the same with the undersides.

ran the servo wires up the fuselage to the nose area and then started sheeting.

it has stiffened the fuselage up nicely.





aileron servos are glued into the wing now, next job is to sheet the underside of the wings and make up the rudder, elevators and ailerons.

hello
wings are all sheeted, wing tips fitted, aileron servos in and working.

and i even programmed the dx9 correctly. :cheer:

now if i build this right it might do a vertical take off. :unsure:
