Which One Next!

Having spent the last two or so months concentrating on the build of a BE2c for AeroModeller, my other projects have well and truly stalled. I currently have the following on the go, all of which have been worked on in the past year and all have build threads in the Free Flight area of the Forum.

KK Eaglet - last post 19th Jan
Gloster Gannet and Lacey M-10C - Last post 30th May
KK Avro 707 for Rapier - last post 22nd Jun
Westland Whirlwind for twin rubber - last post 22nd Jun
Westland Woodpigeon - last post 28th Aug

The question is, which one to do next. I've spent today clearing up the model room turning it into a hobby room in the process - both the wife and I paint in watercolour, so a quarter of the room is now set aside for that hobby.

I'd like to finish at least one model by the end of the year because I'll be starting an ANEC IV Missal Thrust on Christmas day....why? Because I can! The Lacey and Gannet can wait until next year as they are not required until August, which leaves four others.

Here they are in their current state, clockwise from top left: Westland Whirlwind, KK Eaglet, KK Avro 707 and Westland Woodpigeon.

avro 707a cos it looks the easiest to finish.

Not being a builder, I honestly wouldn't know, but I can only look in awe at your building skills Andy. You are a very skillful modeller mate

Here's a bit more info:

I need the Woodpigeon completed and trimmed for the BMFA Scale Indoor Nats in April, the Whirlwind for the BMFA Scale Outdoor FF Nats at the end of May and the Avro for Peterborough Flying Aces in September. The Eaglet is just a fun model that has no pressure attached. Mind you, it was the intention to get the Whirlwind and Avro completed for last year's events, so they're already 12 months behind.

It would be nice to get at least one finished by Christmas, though...............and the Avro is about the closest.

The 707s were always aircraft I liked. I'm sure I built the KK kit for Jetex 50 (way back in 19??) but can't remember how 'or if ' it flew.

So with the Avro 707A completed as far as I'm going to complete it before flying and the Eaglet almost there, where next. I'll be working on the two Westland models above, but I do like to have two or three on the go. There are some 19 models in a part built state lying around the house so I'm going to add one of them, an Aerographics Blackburn 1912 Monoplane, to the above list. I was given the kit for my birthday in January 2010 and I started it in February of that year. The current state is:




I'll be building it for Scale RC Indoors, so I'll put the build thread in the main forum rather than the FF area.
