They had a very distinctive sound
and carried 36,000 gals of fuel
They could stay aloft for nearly 40 hours without refueling and all the engines ran on the same fuel
6, 28 cylinder engines turning 19 foot diameter three bladed props
And 4 jet engines to assist take off
A crew of about 15

To be expected with pusher props close to the wing but at least at the low prop revs it is a more 'mellow' sound.

I suppose your thinking christ thats heavy, well im thinking of making a light weight fibre glass fuse for it, so the plug will have the pipe as the centre, the front and back sections ill carve from mdf
Just thinking at the moment
Its a make it up as i ho along joby
