Events started with Kit Scale, open to any rubber powered kit model. Three flights aiming for 30 seconds duration. TIme away from 30 secs counts against:

Next up was the AeroModeller and Model Maker Plans event, open to any scale model in the two magazines plans ranges - there's probably several hundred eligible models! Alterations were allowed to powerplant and size (±10%). Model were judged on realism in flight for climb, cruise and approach. Models must fly for at least 20 seconds to return a flight score. Four rounds were flown, best scoring flight to count.

Peterborough CLub's gareth Tilston with 4 x KP01 (elec) powered Lancaster designed by fellow club member Brian Waterland and published in AeroModeller in the early 90s. Model flew well, but sustained damage to the wing tip on it's second flight. Still managed 3rd place, though.

Last event was on the Sunday, Open Scale - open to any scale model powered by rubber, electric or CO2. Scoring was similar to the previous day's AeroModeller/Model Aircraft Plans event
