Sad news - I thought that he was fine as the Saint, and in numerous other roles, but the worst Bond by far - comic violence. To be fair, he did say that he wanted to make his Bond a clean break from that of Connery - he did tthat alright

But that was how bond was played,never meant to be to serious or to violent.
