BMFA Nationals 2017. Who's Going?

I'm not sure if there's a list already started somewhere, but could you please put your name down here if you're going to the Nat's this year?
I'm don't know if my health will allow me to go, but if there's a whole gang of us going I might just hire a nurse to escort me.... and I'm SERIOUS !!!!!
I'd also like to know who's going to be there for the weekend and who's good with a camera ..... I'd like to get some good pictures (and stories / articles) ... maybe we could get the cover picture for the BMFA monthly magazine this year.

Still working on it Steve, I managed to walk unaided for about 20 yards just now, this must be the first time I haven't needed the wheelchair or walking frame in the past 2 months.
I've got the electric scooter all fully serviced and ready to go, stick a set of wings on it and you can send me down the flight line.

I'll be there as BMFA Scale Tech Committee PRO from mid morning to late evening Saturday and mid afternoon to late evening Sunday. I'll be entering the FF Scale competitions Saturday and Sunday evening. Jaqui should be there with me with the two Bullies, Hagrid the Dog and Peggy the Bitch!

For info, our very own Septic has entered the CL Scale event with a rather nice Chipmunk. I'm sure he'd appreciate our support when he flies... Planekrazy will also be there as proprietor of SAMS Models during the day and aa a FF Scale competitor in the evening..

Think I can add my name to the list . I was holding off in case off work commitments but I think I'm clear now so should be there Sunday PM and into the evening to compete in the FF scale comp. I may switch to Saturday depends really on the weather forecast , Sunday preferably

Quick NATS related Question - theres talk of free flight fun flying in the form of the irrevelently named 'chuck and duck' is FF funflying permitted thoughout the day or just after the rc comps have finished ??

Sadly, no free flight is allowed until the RC flying has finished. It was a change made about 10 years ago which has 'spoiled' the RC Nats for a lot of the FF types.

My beloved Ann has agreed to come with me so I've now got my nurse.
All I've got to do now is get fit enough to drive, ....... things are getting better by the day.

I've sent in a late entry last night for the F3A Clubmans. Not sure if I made the cut off for entries. Will know Monday when I call the BMFA office. If I get an entry obviously i'll be there and look forward to meeting you all in person. Fingers crossed.
