Be a bit careful Tony, it's an engraver, which means it only really marks the surface, to cut would require many passes to get through. I have been experimenting with Laser cutting and I found the problem is getting the Laser far enough away from the work piece. I found about 6feet! to be fairly ideal for cutting! It's all to do with the focusing, too close to the laser emitter means you have a very tapered beam which tries to make a V cut.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Sorry to hear that Tony. Not wrong info from you, wrong info from the other side!. I think it's time you got into computers, you would really enjoy a computerised router, and, with a high speed motor you can cut all manor of formers and ribs accurately using a 2mm cutter.

Do it now, you may never get another chance
